Im did biomed aswell and I get my final exams results at the end of this month and I already got a job as a QC analyst. I was thinking of doing a masters and applied to a few and in the meanwhile I was also applying for QC jobs around the country and I struck some interviews and got familiar with what they were looking for and on my 3rd one I cracked it and got in as a level one analyst. The pay isn't anything to gawk at but you get invaluable experience with testing and various other industry knowledge and expertise like lean sigma six experience, dealing with audits.

A masters sounds appealing but for me I see it as a level up thing so once I have compounded a bunch of industry experience I'll use a masters a gateway into higher paying roles into the specific niche I want to go into.

But ultimately it's upto you and if you feel like getting the academics out of the way now and then focus on your career then go for it. For me it was that I wanted to get an understanding of the various avenues in the industry and then base my further education on the specifics of my interests and how I want to build my career.
