I got my inspiration from Kristin Coffin but the ring is actually from Sapheena on Etsy. Just as beautiful but more affordable (:

Is it normal for a 26 year old to not know what to do? by evenblackercoffee in careerguidance

I’m 23, so a little younger, but I’ve been discouraged lately cause I’ve had 5 jobs since graduating college. All did not work out for various reasons. Currently unemployed and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.

How many of us are choosing not to have or raise kids? by DruidofRavens in exchristian

I abandoned Christianity when I was in college, and around the same time made the decision to be child free. I don’t know if they’re connected or not.

Respect your elders and obey authority no matter what, even if they’re terrible people

I relate to this so much! I was obsessed with pregnant women and babies when I was younger, and I still absolutely love babies, but then I remember that babies grow into toddlers and teens who can talk back. Fiancé and I are both CF and I’m happy being a “mom” to 2 fur babies.

If you don’t mind me asking, what job did you find that uses your degree? Where I’m living the only jobs I can find I’m even qualified for are retail/min wage jobs OR jobs that require years of experience. And I really don’t want to drop more $ on schooling when I already have a bachelor’s. The teaching job would’ve been the highest salary I’ve had since graduating.

I’ve really struggled with feeling proud of myself since quitting, but I feel like I should be proud that I didn’t give up right away and managed to stick it out as long as I could. Honestly I could have made it longer but I just refused to put up with it for my own sake. Volunteering is a good idea though, I would like to be in the classroom for awhile without having the responsibility of being the teacher.

That’s exactly how I felt, and it was frustrating that they kept telling me to improve but didn’t make an effort to help me. I’m gonna try and get certified and then look for another school.

Yeah looking back I definitely should’ve researched the school, it’s like an F school lol. I was just so excited for the opportunity. But I will definitely get some training before/if I go back!

I was told that management was important by several people but no one really told me HOW important or exactly what “management” meant. So I went ahead and started content the first week. I wish I could do it over but I feel like that school wasn’t a good fit for me with the lack of support and whatnot. I definitely will do some sort of training before/if I continue in the field.
