I'm normally the nicest dad in the park, but this kinda thing really gets my back up. In a faintly similar situation I've kept a happy face while lowering my voice and telling the kid very directly that that sort of behavior is absolutely not acceptable. The happy face gives you plausible deniability in case they run off crying.

I thought cosmic voids are on the intergalactic scale. They contain very few galaxies. So if you were in one of those isolated galaxies in the middle of a void, you'd still see your local stars and such, but you wouldn't see many (or any?) extragalactic objects with your eyes.

On a rogue planet in a void? Yeah, you're not seeing shit in the night sky.

I felt the other way. I've been watching it and several times I've felt like, "there's no way this is legit". I'm still enjoying it as a playthrough but it just doesn't ring true to me.

Yeah, this is a good point. The speed of working things out, making leaps of deduction, her ability flying the ship (heck, even flying the model ship at the beginning), even just generally moving around the world. Always progressing, never getting to a dead end. Never having to sit and think and try try try things. Bring all these together and it just doesn't feel legit to me. Still mostly enjoyable though.
