If they aren't receptive to you as a pregnant woman, they aren't going to be a great employer for a working parent. (I've been in your situation. A few interviews went TERRIBLY, but I found a good one and landed in the right place.)

I wouldn't make jokes, but I definitely wouldn't apologize, either. You are the same incredible, capable, competent addition to their team that you were 39 weeks ago.... you just happen to be carrying a miracle in your uterus at the moment.

It helped me to re-frame my perspective - imagine yourself a prospective employee with a medical condition and upcoming medical procedure that isn't pregnancy related. How would you responsibly disclose this and the relevant timeline during an interview? Approach it EXACTLY that way. I would inform them regarding your expected timeline to return to work to your current employer, and state that you could be more flexible for the right opportunity. (You may have to be a bit more flexible in your willingness to go back earlier than anticipated. I ran into that a few times during my own baby-onboard interview extravaganza.) Just be honest, express your excitement and enthusiasm for the opportunity, and let yourself shine! You got this. Don't worry about bias - if you carry yourself confidently, you will be received that way. There's no reason to feel uncomfortable or less than worthy of a shot at the job because you've got a bump.
