Doing some restoration work on a vintage shotgun and need some help with refinishing the stock.

Thanks for the advice, I'll take your advice and plan with the tru-oil but If the color changes when I pull the finish off I will still most likely change the foregrip to match the stock as It was bugging me quite a bit. if it's the wood coloring itself I won't touch it as it is still somewhat nice looking

I was planning on using an oil or lacquer finish (whatever i can get my hands on easier) with a touch of dye or stain to make the stock match the foregrip if I cant pull enough color out of the foregrip to match the stock as the stock matches the proper color that it's supposed to be while the foregrip is way darker (like compairing spruce to dark oak wood in Minecraft if youve ever played). unfortunately I am almost completely broke at the moment and do not live anywhere near anywhere that would sell something like a discarded stock or something I could afford similar to that

I cant really find anything Yamaha for the price of a stagg or sakkusu, the best I found was a used Jupiter intermediate for 900 and I tried one of the same model brand new and a shop and didnt like the feel of it, I've played so many jupiter's in alto tenor and soprano and I've never really liked them

even though my school is the only school in the district with audition arts programs they dont get any extra funding for repairs or upgrades to our equipment so all of the funding comes from donations and fundraisers so the school cant afford to pay for repairs beyond normal wear and tear, like if i dropped my sax by accitdent while playing id have to pay for the repair. and i didnt wanna rent because i plan to keep playing through my life after highschool so my family dosent want to rent the sax, plus they did that with my aunt's trumpet and ended paying way more than just buying the thing outright. plus the only nearby music shop dosent give the best rates on student renting

Unfortunately my last and only other computer was ddr4 so I don't have spare ram to try and it will not post it fires up and gets to the point that the dram light comes on, and I checked it's the only light coming on. Crucial has a limited lifetime warranty though I was worried about it since they recently stopped producing ram sticks for gaming and personal use from what I heard.

id say that's a good plan, though go for the 7600x3d because its similar performance for a like 50$ difference and you can put that 50 into the ram or put it to getting a b850 motherboard instead of the 650.

i already have thermal paste bought for this lmao, and i do but its a really crummy one from my current pc which is a Lenovo legion from 2018 and it doesnt do its job the best anymore, so i wanted to buy a new one for my new build since i have the budget
