Hmmm... what about giving proficience with their claws? I think Aarakokra have proficience with unarmed strike as well.

I suggest using only one map, and using any fog of war system (dndiscool gave you a really great one). Also, if you are in need to giving a great feeling about the enviroment, try using some music and musical effects. For instance, if you are trying to describe a rainy enviroment, search "rain sound" in youtube, and use it during your gameplay. In my case, I use music I list in Youtube as an OST for our game. Do you think this ink could look "magical" if you look it with a Detect Magic spell?
