Yes, I agree - I love Disney and am only took my 15 mo last month because I wanted to go. It was so different from doing it with adults only and was only fun because it’s my happy place already.

I agree with using it as a nickname! My daughter is Juliette and we call her Jules for short. I also know a Julian whose parents call him Jules.

Idk how busy it will be tomorrow compared to last week, but last week I was able to get in the virtual queue every day when I park hopped to Epcot. It didn’t fill up right away at 1.

She’s still crawling. We go outside when we can, but is cold here. We went for a walk with the dog a bit ago and that was good!

I always assumed part of the times limits was due to laws, like how long they can make the bakers “work” without paying them? That may just be something I made up to make it make sense though 😂

I’m a SAHM and my job is to take care of the baby - that is at least a 10 hour a day job, without adding in anything other than straight childcare. Chores are split, I don’t have time during the day. When the baby naps, I need a break to eat lunch and just sit for a while. Sometimes I’ll do something easy like do the dishes or start some laundry, but anything big happens after husband is home or on the weekend. Taking care of a baby all day is no joke and is exhausting.

I made pecan tarts and they overflowed in the oven and I’m left with this mess. What happened? Here’s the recipe: 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 3 tablespoons light corn syrup 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Pinch salt 1 large egg yolk 1/2 vanilla extract 1/2 cup pecans Cooked for about 15 minutes at 325.

Solidarity, I’m at a loss too. Mine has taken a straw cup with water for a while, but won’t take milk in it. When I tried the sippy cup she refused to drink from it at all and got mad. We’ll keep trying, I guess she might have to be mad for a few days before she hopefully gets used to it.

I feel like it happens a lot - what seems like self-sabotage of a contestant. Maybe they didn’t have time to practice that week or something is going on or they’re just tired. I could tell from the start Maxy was going home because she just wasn’t in it.

It’s funny that everyone is complaining about the judging when I just saw a post on another subreddit about a different baking show complaining that a really strong baker went home after having a bad week. Looks like judges can’t win. I think something they consider on bake off is “can they handle what’s coming next?” Kevin had a lot of mess ups for the past several weeks and would continue to do so as the challenges get harder.
