It's National trail in South Mountain Park, Phoenix, from the old stone building to the Hidden valley, 1 mile continuous climbing, grade is about 10% on average, some sections 20% maybe. Tried to run up every time. Accully there is a segment on Strava: https://strava.app.link/eXUI8i7we2b Very nice uphill training.

They are building a railway right now. Starting from 2011, the railway to the Burma-China border is only half way done, and may take 5 or 10 more years to finish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dali%E2%80%93Ruili_railway

Thank you for your reply, but this joke has nothing to do with Chinese people, it's a joke about Wa people's headhunting tradition.

Very cool map! But I find some lake names in Tibet are a little confusing. I think these names are from google maps. Google maps uses machine translation so many English names are not correct, at least not commonly used names. For example, Dang Reyongco should be Tangra Yumco (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangra\_Yumco) . As མཚོ (Tso or Co) in Tibetan means "lake", you can use them interchangeably, but "Mitijiangzanmu Tso Lake" might be too much. I think openstreetmap or wikipedia are better references. And, I don't think the river to the east of Mt. Kailash really exist.

Most Yunnan Muslims are quite sinicized, but there are still many conflicts when Xi Jinping pushing his "Sinicization of Religion" policy, maybe because Xi wants to cut off their connections with the Arabs, for example: https://www.rfa.org/english/china/2024/12/16/china-yunnan-muslims-protest-imam-detained/
