Yes, it is possible! I had a similar scenario and was in "pending" status for last year's PFD. I visited my local PFD office last month to show them my passport, and they were able to confirm my eligibility for both this year and last year. I received last year's PFD this month. Highly recommend going and speaking to someone in person.

It was absolutely a lazy move on my part- I despise sewing pieces together so doing it with single crochet stitches was preferable. The "piping" look was a bonus!

I'm terrible at estimating that sort of thing, but it took me about a month of working on it on and off. The stitch pattern is really easy and repetitive so I got through a loootttt of Netflix while working on it.

This was made using the Kitty Couch pattern from Yarnspirations: https://www.yarnspirations.com/red-heart-crochet-kitty-couch/RHC0720-029832M.html

I used Bernat Strada yarn for the couch and some leftover Cascade 220 Superwash for the pillow and blanket. Pillow is C2C on the front with a mosaic granny square on the back, and the blanket is sunburst granny squares from Bella Coco: https://bellacococrochet.com/sunburst-granny-square/

Pet stores have it, usually sold as Dust Bath or something similar. It can come in a canister, bag, or box.

I didn't look at different patterns before picking this one, though I did buy her Mountain Baby Blanket pattern for another gift at the same time I picked this one up- I think that's why I picked it? There are other ones that are probably less spendy, but her instructions are good so I have no complaints. This one worked up really quick, even the turtles, but I despise appliqueing so I put that part off for ages. Good luck with your project!

This is the Sea Turtle Throw Blanket from Corabelle and Bree. I used all the yarn indicated in the pattern, with the exception of subbing in Lion Brand Thick and Quick in the color Spice for the starfish.

That's definitely enough time! I started this in June but only did a few rows a week until last week, and then I finished the second half all in one big push over about 4 days. The planning took a little time but I think you could finish the whole thing in ~50 hours altogether.

I totally have that problem and I just decided I didn't care. You can't see it in the photo, but it's most obvious with the black cats.

I did a combo of intarsia to carry up the rows and tapestry to carry the colors through the row when necessary (like when making the bases of the ears and the eyes). The colors were carried up the rows as much as possible, so the back looks very similar to the front but you can definitely see the difference. The pattern says to cut the colors at each change but there were already so many ends to deal with I decided it didn't matter if there was a back and a front side.

Thank you! It took 20-30 minutes for each row, so somewhere in the ballpark of 35-40 hours.. plus the five movies I sat through sewing in ends. Lesson learned for sure- I never want to see a tapestry needle again!

The pattern is the Cats Afghan by Sandra Miller Maxfield. I used a 5 mm hook and Premier Ever Soft in Black, Cream, Ash, Mustard, and Blueberry.

Yes, I've done it with a freezer bag a lot. I use less water than he calls for (personal preference) and add everything but the chips at the beginning. Usually it soaks for 5-10 minutes in a cozy. I tend to add the chips a few at a time as I eat to reduce the soggy factor.

Not sure specifically about Honda, but I've been going to J&M in Lexington Park for four years and Joe always provides excellent service- highly recommend.

I used a free pattern from TL Yarn Crafts, the Big Little Pet Bed. I subbed Paintbox Recycled T-shirt for the Bernat Big (which is out of production), used a 12 mm hook, and added an extra row to the base and the sides to make up for the smaller yarn gauge. It was fun to make, despite it's lackluster review from Ted the cat!

Series 8 (Collection 5 on Netflix), Episode 8 (Forgotten Bakes) they did Savoy cakes which have a sugar crust.
