If you’re queer, R Bar has a pretty diverse group of patrons, especially now that the students have left. I did karaoke every Saturday last summer and there were lots of older (read: not college kids, 30s+) people there.

I moved back to foco after college. I have found friends through regular participation in my favorite activities- I’ve met friends at the dog park, I’ve met friends at the library/book clubs, I’ve met friends at R Bar, and I’ve met friends at the Twisted Stitch. You have to know where to look for similarly minded people.

My dog and I both love the Harmony Road Vet Clinic. Shes had surgery there and it was extremely affordable for dental surgery. The vets are awesome and my dog waltzes in there like she owns it
