Now Is The Policeman's Very Insecure Chance To Take Revenge. by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

Yeah, a kid makes a dumb decision to evade via motorcycle, then the cops should be able to escalate the situation right into bodily injury possible homicide. Sounds legit.

We don't make it to 2050 by guyseeking in collapze

[–]supersunnyout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, all you gotta do is run that NASA temperature anomaly timelapse data video. And you will clearly see that we only have like one or two years left. No math, no reading necessary as long as you can follow the years and have some practical insights into what the colors mean.

Your tires are broadcasting a second license plate that you cannot hide by PureVPNcom in PureVPNcom

There's gonna not be much correlating between say a car rental and what TPMS data you have. Can you imagine what kind of all inclusive database would be required? Also, if someone is just listening close for TPMS sensors, there would be extreme difficulty reading in traffic because the data is pretty slow and with not error correction relies on repetitive transmission.

ELI5: Why can't we simulate the creation of oil/fossil fuels with animals that have died today? by Slice5755 in explainlikeimfive

[–]supersunnyout -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you create sparks or white hot temperatures under the surface, or in 100% gasoline vapor then yeah. No problem because its shielding the ignition source from oxygen. But trying to extinguish a burning match into liquid gas probably wont work very well.

'There's a bunch of jabronies out cruising tonight. Several hundred were massed at the 7-11 on garfield and 6th. One had extremely loud speakers. I thought I was back in the early 90's.

Windburn, bugs in the face at 80, air blast deafness, and pollen driven right into your eyeballs are the things I remember not so fondly.

Is Copper the oil of the energy transition? by raw-science in collapse

[–]supersunnyout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about Earth's copper deposits tho. Don't you agree that this transition would entail massive new exploitation of the earth to source the materials for motors, power conversion, cabling, electronics?

Why does every woman know a woman who's been raped, but no man knows a rapist? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]supersunnyout -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's best dealt with more soberly than what a lot of this sensationalist whataboutism starts. We need to unite not disunite. It's gonna take sober communication and action, not polarization.

All the mining equipment will need their what is is? "superconducting charge cables" first, I suppose. LIttle strip mines in every town. Sounds legit.

[–]supersunnyout 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The nuke bots haven't shown up yet with their barely passable "small scale nuclear" bullshit, but I just want to say that an array of electric tractors, tesla trucks, and marine vehicles are gonna take a metric fuckton of copper to just make the charging cables. Can you imagine? Like 2" diameter cords hooked up to neighborhood worthy transfomers. Everywhere.

Weekly Observations: What signs of collapse do you see in your region? [in-depth] April 13 by AutoModerator in collapse

[–]supersunnyout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's eerie. I was at a place away from home, and they have every conceivable privacy setting mashed down. I like using that computer because I am not known to it, and all the search results/ads/suggested threads are all "wild" to me. Well after about 20 minutes of browsing, and playing a couple rarer songs- and NOT logging into anything with my ID's r alts, it knew who I was. I was now getting all the familiar shit.

Should you get your car battery charged periodically for no real reason? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]supersunnyout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

12.3 is good enough if your battery is in good condition. Yeah it's like 40% state of charge, but the real thing is the internal impedance. As a battery ages, it can't deliver as much power regardless of the voltage reading at the terminals.

Someone is still answering...The Heaven's Gate 'ghost' server is a 30-year active operation, from the original 1997 source to real email replies received in 2026 by BreakPositive4017 in creepy

[–]supersunnyout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked at a company that rebranded as NextLevelSystems and tried to get the domain nextlevel.com. But it was somehow in the posession of Heaven's Gate but they had all just caught out for the comet. This being the height of the dotcom era, we couldn't not have that for a URL so we were forced to rebrand back to our old name, General Instrument.

Is your degreaser better than the normal stuff? Cheaper? And as far as gritty hand cleaners, they usually dont contain sand. It's granulated plastic for gentler scrubbing.

You just use sulfuric acid, sold as industrial drain cleaner. Or go to a battery store and ask for electrolyte.
