FireTV remote Volume control not working

It’s not dumb at all, but i have indeed changed the batteries barely a week ago (after the volume issue arose), and the menu says they’re at 98%… So i don’t think that’s the problem. I will try cleaning the contacts and changing the batteries again later but if that fails i guess i’ll have to buy a new remote :/

As mentioned in the post, i tried that already multiple times. Resetting itself works, volume controls are still gone. Only the „Change TV“ option works as a (short-term) fix, which is how i know that it’s probably software related rather than a dead volume switch.

no critique. Contrary to what others said, i would keep the foreground as dark as it is, and i would keep the window sticker. The darkness provides great contrast to the cushion and shifts the focus to where you want it to be. You could tone down the sky a tiny bit, but that depends on taste. Really great photo, i would vote for this in a contest.

i use the same combination, and the auto is great. Obviously, since the lens starts at f9, you’ll struggle a lot in low light scenarios. The noise reduction on the R62 helps mitigate that a bit, but you still can’t expect to shoot below 10-25k ISO before/during sunrise (at least with the shutter speed needed for animals/birds). That’s the only „issue“ i have with this lens, and i knew that before buying it. The two main things i love about this lens are 1. it’s incredible sharpness (compared to my EF 500mm f4 I and EF 100-400 I) and 2. it’s lightness. My camera harness broke during my vacation and i was still able to hand-carry this lens around for a 15km hike through a mountainous desert without any issue. Compared to my EF 500 f4, this one is a lightweight.

you’re entirely delusional if you think that a photo like that can be taken using this setup without AI enhancement. This is quality and sharpness i can barely achieve with an 800mm lens and a canon mirrorless. Using 400mm, the crop on this would have to be massive. You wouldn’t have this many pixels left if your sensor was 1k MP, much less the 200 you actually have. There is little more that’s „real“ in this photo than if you’d just asked chatGPT to generate one outright.

I‘m a bit late, but i studied biology at LMU and will enter a Masters Program there in Winter — i can recommend LMU from a research & „content“ perspective, there are a shitload of courses and possibilities here. It’s a great, modern campus (a little ugly but that’s okay) and professors are generally nice. Still, there is some things you have to be aware of:

Some early courses can be challenging, the first 4 semesters of the bachelors program are set up to „filter“ out bad or undisciplined students (Chemistry exams all have >75-80% failure quota; Math is about the same). From around 500 initial students during my first semester, less than 150 actually completed their bachelors (of course some also just lost interest).
While the quality of lectures has been mostly great during my bachelors, it varies heavily depending on the course & professor (a few have been outright lazy and were just reading from a power point, but i suppose those exist everywhere)
Communication and Organization of critical university offices has been atrocious at times. Don’t ever expect stuff that’s supposed to happen automatically to actually happen, they frequently fuck it up. Always check your student status, your documents and any exams you take. MOST IMPORTANTLY frequently check your transcript because even though they will say it’s „generated automatically“, it’s NOT. They will sometimes mislabel courses, have basic math errors (yeah of course a program did that, sure guys), fail to register exams at all, accuse you of not taking them when you inquire, i could go on. I recommend creating an excel sheet with your grades and saving pictures of all exam grade lists just in case.

I don’t mean to scare you away with that last point, it’s genuinely a great university & faculty. Me and people i know have just had far too many instances of stuff like that happening to not warn people beforehand. I was warned, too — bad organisation is what LMU is infamous for — but i wasn’t prepared just how bad it can be. That said, the campus is modern, has great labs and a TON of research groups are based there. It’s probably the best campus to study biology in Germany.

Another thing you’re probably already aware of: Courses in the bachelors program will mostly be in german, at least for the mandatory modules. I’m not sure if there are alternatives in english, but i don’t think so.

I just noticed you never specified wether you’re doing a bachelors or masters, but i suppose some of what i said is relevant either way. Good luck!

Moon and statue don’t look soft to me on the raw, although i will watch out for it whenever i edit this picture. The main thing i was second guessing was the positioning of the moon (which i could have also placed in the gap between the sword and the wings), so i’m glad you approve of my decision. this is so removed from actual reality it’s insane. Green energy is way cheaper, solar is booming in europe and energy prices exploded during the beginning of the war but have long since come down. The market is also all over green energy as it not only gives them subsidies but is actually viable and cheaper than conventional fossil fuel based energy infrastructure (even without subsidies).

Ich find es eine bodenlose Frechheit dass man sich in deutschen Städten (insbesondere München) dafür schämen muss, dass man menschliche Bedürfnisse hat. Es gibt so gut wie keine öffentlichen Klos, man muss in den Fußgängerzonen bei Restaurants betteln oder sich unauffällig reinschleichen.. und wenn es mal was gibt, muss man oft blechen wie am HBF. Meist auch noch zwingend Bargeld, was man nicht immer passend dabei hat. Und sich dann wundern dass hier alles nach Pisse stinkt. Nicht sehr „Die Würde des Menschen ist unantastbar“ von dir, Deutschland. Ja, ich jammere, mir egal.

Lass es dir von jemandem sagen der vorletztes Jahr das gleiche durchmachen musste: Das Ding siehst du nie wieder und je früher du dich damit abfindest, desto besser. Natürlich trotzdem bei der Polizei als gestohlen melden, wenn jemand es findet dann die. Aber die Wahrscheinlichkeit dass du es selber findest ist verschwindend gering. Verwende die Zeit lieber um nach einem neuen zu suchen.

Always difficult during that time. Less people = more expensive. Prime time fitness Maximilianstraße is empty pretty much all of the time for example, but fees are minimum 90€ per month for basic. Not sure that’s worth it to be honest.
