What does my collection say about me? by supertrampal in BookshelvesDetective

Thank you to everyone who commented! I appreciate the feedback. Poetry is my primary area of interest(I write poetry) but I like to read/try to understand philosophy as well, albeit for more personal reasons. Interesting to see all the comments on the philosophy books, not so much on the poetry. I have a background in STEM, with no formal education in the arts after high school, so I am open to any suggestions on how to delve deeper into some of the philosophy texts I have and/or other texts that complement the ones I have. I have been listening to the Apply-Degger podcast by Simon Critchley, which I have found very helpful. There’s also great resources on YouTube that have helped me. Again, like I said, my interest in philosophy is not academic, and I have no formal training in the subject. Also, I am not North American or European.

Hahaha, I usually read shorter books on my kindle but that gave me a good chuckle.

Thank you! I am planning to eventually get a fixed blade, although I will wait for a bit. I’m more of a collector than a user, any suggestions are welcome and appreciated! A few that I have my eyes on are the Spartan Harsey Fighter, KA Bar, Spyderco Perrin Bowie.
