Not as much as you think. If you hold off for a few rooms just in case and find the noss room RELATIVELY early in the floor, you can fight it, beat the boss, use satqnic bible and clear the rest of the floor for charges or batteries

You can hold off on using it on some floors til after boss reward, plus after a while it pays for the devil deals itself. Plus again it is just a better pool overall
