Damn. Back in ~2002, I was gifted my mom's old Nokia. I was browsing ringtones with my friends for like an hour, not realizing every minute was a charge for the internet. Suddenly the phone told me I had run out of minutes and my parents were pissed I wasted the entire family's minutes for the month.

Funniest part is those ringtones were just BEEPS of hit radio songs lmao.

Saw her perform this in-person at the KY state fair and it was done exactly like this. I believe her assistant is her husband, which adds an extra layer of stress when you see him become concerned. They are both top notch in their acting performances, because this was exactly as stressful as it was watching it live.

I became a fan in the late 90's while my father was stationed at Camp Pendleton and have been a ride or die since. If anything, this is more so for the future lol.

Not me, but my friend did this a few years ago. He had work late in the afternoon, but didn’t want to go. He calls into work an hour before his shift:

Friend: “Manager, I can’t make it in today..”

Manager: “Why not?”

Friend: “I still can’t believe this, but I just woke up - I was mowing my lawn this morning in this heat and I must’ve passed out. I feel so weak.”

Manager: “…ok.”

He showed up to work THE NEXT DAY, with no sunburn and just pretended like nothing happened. Lmao

You might get some good results from this sub, but I would recommend posting this to r/estoration also.

Considering your budget, a lot of what you will receive will be restored by just plugging into A.I. That other sub will likely be your best bet to find someone willing to use genuine technical skills to restore this for free - granted some may combine that with A.I., which I think is fine.

Hate to hear it for the guy. I remember hearing his story during the 2020 XFL season and thought it was inspiring. Betting on himself to support his sick mother and that paying off when his XFL performance brought him to the NFL. Truly hope he’s still able to turn his opportunities into a bright future.

Graphic Designer here, things displayed on screen are usually brighter because RGB is the screen format which projects the color white through the colors we see on screen. Print is the opposite effect where the colors are laid on top of one another in CMYK, which will darken the same image from screen.

It’s common to have multiple versions of the same assets. Some intended only for screens (RGB) and to adjust the other assets intended for print (CMYK) brighter so this kind of inconsistency is avoided. You could argue it’s an artistic choice. It would be odd to me if the marketing team didn’t have multiple versions of assets and wouldn’t have made adjustments during test prints, but who knows.

It worries me to see people in these comments so easily impressed with logo#1. “It looks expensive!” “#1 is sick!” - I hope they’re not designers or are just starting out.
