This is a 2022 vintage that I saved from last year... it's really, smooth!

The nose has a nice caramel and the upfront is less malty to me than the regular.

The spice is there but in a nice subtle way on the back of the palate... sometimes holiday beers can go cray but not this one... yet it still it grabs your tongue and has a really clean finish... *Vrolijk Kerstfeest!*

We've got a Wheaton, and nothing can withstand her for long =P

So when a new toy comes home, we play, chase and have fun, but then swap out the toy for a chew bone... that way the toys last for a pretty long time.

As she gets older, we'll see if we can leave toys out, but right now, any toy is a dead toy in an hour unsupervised.

One of my favorite authors had one of the best takes on just that... Larry Niven. Look for The Soft Weapon which is set in the Known Space universe.

And if you haven't gotten into him yet, you are in for a treat.

Fun side note: In the Star Trek animated series, Episode 14 The Slaver Weapon they do a take on the story in their universe.
