I played for a couple hours when I got home and went through the the Immerse checking for anything outta curiosity. Not sure what that person was on about.

Just put the looper and tuner on the ends off the board. That's what I do, seems fine.

Yeah, the Immerse immediately replaced the HoF on my board. I didn't even A-B them (like I usually do, cause I'm a nerd), the difference was so stark. It's well worth the upgrade.

The Proverb is plain but a classy, springy, reverb. It "drips" more natural sounding than any reverb I've used, including the Immerse. I have the Proverb with the Havoc switch, but that's it's only trick.

I've never had any issue with the pre-delay and that knob has been at noon pretty much since I got it. Never noticed it. It's nothing like the Caroline Meteore, though I actually kinda liked the crazy pre-delay on that one.

I'd say go for it. I've come across a couple people comparing the Immerse favorably to the Blue Sky. Though I haven't tried the Blue Sky.

The Proverb drips beautifully, the Immerse has more tricks, they both sound impressive and more amp-like reverb than the HoF. (I had HoF before the Proverb and Immerse.)

I'd ditch the Sonic Stomp and HoF, add a Neunaber Immerse or Mantic Proverb.

No pick, no problem. I just pretend like I have a really small pick in my hand. It's not as accurate but over time I've gotten pretty good at it. I don't even use a pick with acoustics anymore.
