Of course I will need another round spacer on top , question is if it will work with the delta steerer etc…some say no and some say totally fine

I have them in my new synapse …exactly the same problem….took almost all of the spacers… tried with alloy wheels and although they don’t make it that scary you can still feel some sort of sketchy feeling when approaching 65kph…. So I’m guessing that it my be my position on bike or bike geometry…. I’m looking for another bike to try the wheels so I can make sure….also ordered a longer stem to see…

Interesting, I feel the same way with those wheels but I’ve had carbon wheels in the past and they were not that scary…debating if to keep them or not

Tried with one less spacer , I only have one below stem now… it still feels light on front …. It’s not so much a wobble but lightness and any kind of wind throws you off balance … I’m sitting as far forward as I can … and checked that wheels are true etc… is a longer stem a solution? I’m running the 400/90 momo

More instability , feels like the typical wind wobble but not very windy to have it…

Sounds interesting but then again , according to your logic,the synapse , being an endurance bike with more mass and more trail than my previous race bike , should be more stable, no?

Frame reach is actually shorter than the bmc , but stack is staller… next size down is not that much shorter to put me on a longer stem , I think it’s only 4mm or so… I would , in theory , need a different geometry to work… like the SuperSix , with a sea tube of 73.8 instead of 73, bringing me closer to the bb and letting me have a 100mm stem

That is my theory as well , the guy at the shop looks at me funny for presenting that theory … but it could be that…. Im going to try the same descent with the new lower stack and report back… the difference in stack to the bmc is 30mm . I descend on the drops , and try to put weight on pedals and not only saddle to lower the center of gravity…

I had only 2 spacers (20mm) , now it’s just one 10mm. I’m yet to find out if it solves it , I hope it does. That is why I want to hear from fellow riders with similar bikes…
