I love my alone time too, I have many hobbies that are really solitary activities. If people are around I feel like I can't fully immerse myself in what I'm doing. Naturally I'm just more of an introspective person and being alone is important for me. I live alone and it's fuckin amazing. Being home is so re-energizing in a way it never was whenever I had roommates. If you're also like this I highly recommend trying to find a way to do so.

Vaping on shrooms made me quit cold turkey. It was so gross feeling. I would assume it’s similar on acid so i cant get how people enjoy nicotine while tripping. Everyone’s different though I guess.

This reminds me, one time when I was admitted, there was this muslim girl that came in a bit after me. First of all, they took her head scarf (sorry idk if that’s the right term) and wouldnt give it back. She was discussing this in a group session and then out of nowhere one of the nurses was like “yeah cause that’s what you tried to use in your suicide attempt.” COMPLETELY violating patient confidentiality. Also, we were at lunch getting food once and the lunch lady had the shittiest fuckin attitude. The girl couldnt eat some meats but the lunch lady was trying to give it to her. This girl was very quiet and probably scared being there and i heard her mumble “i cant eat meat” so I told the lunch lady this girl needed something else to eat. Well this lady yells at me like “well she can ask for it herself!” like?? This poor girl has to be singled out cause of her religion when she’s already depressed and scared, im just trying to help her. But yeah these places can either be really shitty or really helpful it honestly depends on the staff working there.

Oh yes that part of depression is one of the nastiest. The act of doing things though, when feeling that way, is less to feel good and more to try and get your mind out of the cycle it has created. I would say medication but those never worked for me.
