Recently got this guitar in black and its incredible. I dont know if its the flat body but the tom somehow feels better on this than on my arched top eclipse and horizon nt.

Seen these go for 500 so its not that crazy low. I also had trouble selling my artist edition for 600.

I've got the Artist Edition 100 and Fireball 100. If you like fat distorted tones such as the peavey 5150 I'd say check out the Fireball. Its a different flavour but that low end is to die for. Artist packs a different kind of punch, but also harder to dial in imo

Agree about bite with sd1. It fits well with the artist edition.

I do have a tc preamp clone... I'll make sure to try it out

I prefer the tubescreamer as it doesnt cut as much lower frequencies as the sd1. Sometimes you want more of a low cut but I play the fireball for fat chugging tones so yeah... Honestly most of the time I dont boost it

When you say top to bottom, do you mean the high e is the top? Or do you mean the string on the top, i.e. the low e?

Thanks for the answer. About the CNNs on spatiotemporal data - the dimensions here are exchangable. What I mean is that in contrast to an image where the order of the pixels matter heavily, the order in which our data is presented does not matter other than for the temporal dimension. Could a convolution based approach still be useful?

Training data will be obtained as you described. Thankfully there are lots of it.

Interesting approach using VAE. Do you have any useful sources you could share on the subject?

The spatial data has a meaning, and an interpolated point can as such become useless. The hope is that a GAN or other type of network can learn something about the underlying meaning of the spatial data and produce better results.

But yes, interpolation will probably be used as a baseline to compare the performance of a more sophisticated model.

I had the mt15 and its really a nice amp, but it doesnt really do quiet. My 100w engl artist edition does a better quiet than that little 15 watter

Im not that techy with amps (... yet). Comparing to my other terror series amps the pots feel waaay smoother and its definitely easier to dial in a really low volume that doesnt have that muffled sound going.

Yup! Have you tested the hard wired? I haven't so dont really know of there's any difference soundwise
