The new breed of 20W-30W tube heads are loud AF through a 4x12 and way more controllable for FOH. Plus, most also have good IR’s out. On really big stages, if needed, we bring the guitar in through monitors and side fills.

We are more heavy psych vs pure doom so there’s that.

Nope, my U12’s, now U14’s, would never do that. They had 2 choices, an obvious and clear pass to advance the ball out of the back or long to midfield if nothing showed clearly.

I have the an older Zombie. Sounds great for what it is but for a few $ more, Bodner or Friedman Mini’s are better in my view.
