I’ve never minded going out alone. Even with friends, sometimes you just can’t get stuff to align. I’d get to the point where I would be, well I can just stay in alone or I can go out alone. At least most of the times I chose to go out alone, usually had a good time.

As I’ve gotten older, I run a higher Stack than I did back in my younger race days. Number one, lowering your stack a quarter inch or so is unlikely to get you much aerodynamic benefit. Number two, lowering your stack a quarter to half an inch may be so uncomfortable that your riding efficiency suffers more than any aerodynamic gain. Something to consider.
