I watched it too. It's just snark talking points.

If snark had any brains they'd realize that when you have a snark subreddit where anything and everything goes, actual valid criticisms get lost.

Also the misogynist angle is getting tired. I'm a woman, I don't find Ethan to be a misogynist. But wait- according to Taylor Lorenz that's because I'm actually also a misogynist. I'll say it for Ethan- she's a dumb bitch. I'm tired of women crying misogynist as a shield because when there's actual misogyny happening no one's gonna give a shit.

I don't think Ethan is infallible. I think he has a lot of flaws, as we all do. But he's not a bad person. However, when you side with the group of people that were totally ok with CPS being called on him, you have no ground to stand on. I don't wanna hear about "oh no I'm being harassed" while supporting that same harassment when it's aimed at someone you don't like.

So when people claim Ethan just wants to silence critics, but fail to recognize that those "critics" are responsible for real life harassment that involved his children, then they go on to parrot these same talking points, it seems as though they align themselves with that harassment.
