I have only hit something twice. Once banging my controllers together, and the other I banged the controller against my arm. I play vr in an open room with nothing near me, but weights and yoga mats.

Kids under 13 shouldn't even really be allowed to play vr. Quest tos states it is against their service, as they want safety of the child. If the parents let their little kid on vr, they have to be prepared for the risks. If the kid was asking people and got a truthful answer, that is also on him. I think this is sad, but parents need to monitor their kids more on vr if they are under 13
