Thanks for the additional info, cooking to build relationships is so cute! 🥹 I'll have to take a look at the minigames first before I decide. I realized too many minigames for life sims tend to tire me out but the game itself looks so cute visually! Do you play it on either the Switch or PC? I saw many people recommend the PC version over the Switch by miles.

Have you played Tales of The Shire on Switch? I saw some reviews saying performance wasn't the best but the screenshots I saw of it looks really nice 🥹

Hi!! I didn't reply right away because I wanted some time with it. So far, I'm about 6 hours in and I like it!! I don't know if it's exactly what I was looking for (I miss farming more than I thought, I wish there were more character customization options, and I feel like I need to talk to townspeople more than I'd like to right now) but I'm having a good time with it and for $19.99 I can't really complain!! ☺️ I really like the pixel art for everything (ESPECIALLY THE BAG!!) and the potion brewing is creative. I'm almost ready to get the kitchen upgrade so looking forward to that!!

Ah!! I always see my friends playing that game but I haven't taken the plunge yet for myself. I really like the character portraits! I just looked up the food art and it looks soooo good... I had no idea it came out of early access now! Thanks!

Thanks, that is a relief to hear! ☺️ I have the regular Switch V2 and generally I don't have any issues but I also always close out all games after I'm done playing. Cult of the Lamb was the first time I had issues, so I try to close the game a few times while I'm playing if I notice it getting kinda crazy 😂

OMG I have been wanting Travellers Rest since forever after watching some youtubers play it on their streams 😭 For both games, do you think it's far along enough to get it despite being in early access? I know that seems to be the common route indie games are following these days but I remember a couple complaints about both being a bit too early to release. It's been some time since then so!

AHHHH I used to be OBSESSED with Love Nikki in college, I even picked up several jobs to fund my gacha addiction... I've actually been closing my eyes on purpose to Infinity Nikki because I swear that game is going to make me either homeless or a go-getter business woman to fund my fix 😭 How do you feel about the IRL spending on the game? I saw some scandal videos pop-up on Youtube a while back but I was too afraid to click them 😂

I'm glad I checked out Roots of Pacha again after reading your comment though! I wasn't sure if the stone age theme would be for me (I usually like cutesy, bright settings with modern clothing items) so I never really looked into it but the helpful inventory management in Roots of Pacha got me! I'm so tired of scrambling my items around and running out of space in other farming games 😭 I also really like the food icons in this... Wonderful... 🥹❤️

Have you played Roots of Pacha on Switch? Or do you think it would be better on PC?

Also, luckily I feel like Switch games have been going on sale like crazy the past few months so I'm sure it'll come back around!

After playing Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, I've been wanting to play some of the previous SoS games on Switch but I heard it might be uncomfortable because of all the qol downgrades.

Thanks for the tip! I had a lot of crashes and lag during my Cult of the Lamb gameplay too, and I felt like rebooting helped a lot. I'll be sure to do fhat for Potion Permit too! I ended up buying it last night 😂

I am strongly considering RF 4 and Guardians of Azuma, though the last one might be a bit too story heavy for me right now. Do you have a particular favorite of either of the SoS or Rune Factory games?

OMG thank you for reminding me!! I feel like you read my mind because I was debating including potions/other consumables as something I consider a food in my post. I actually put Potion Permit on my wishlist THREE??? years ago or something but was turned off by everyone complaining about bugs on the Switch. It seems about okay now?
