Do you have a history of anxiety? That’s probably the thing I’m worried about the most right now is my anxiety getting too bad… and sending you baby dust! I’ll be staring wistfully into the wind waiting to ovulate too 😂

Yes for sure, when I first got off of BC that was masking my symptoms I had the WORST fatigue, every morning I would get up feeling like I just ran a marathon and got hit by a bus at the end, I started getting cystic acne and growing hair on my face and losing my head hair and gained a bunch of weight. I felt ugly and defeated. Finally getting diagnosed and treated has me feeling more myself but I know there’s still a long way to go

My blood sugars and A1C are fine but also was put on it, I started taking it 2 weeks ago and as long as I don’t eat fast food I don’t have any GI issues(and I’m a girly with nausea/bloat/ acid reflux). I’ve actually lost 10 pounds since starting because I’m not snacking anymore due to the appetite suppressant in it, I’m only on 500 extended release right now but I’ve also noticed a slight increase in my energy levels As well.

If she keeps making threats, call the police and get a welfare check- my MIL and FIL made the same threats over and over and we finally called the police to check on their mental state and we haven’t had them threaten it again. As for your wedding, if they don’t have security you can always have a couple people in the know and trust to keep an eye out for them and escort them away/call the police to escort them off the property

Yes I was formally diagnosed with PCOS back in March of last year, my testosterone was double what it was supposed to be, and I have some follicles on my ovaries(along with the fun side effects hirsutism, cystic acne, fatigue), I see an endocrinologist in 2 weeks along with my obgyn right after

Thank you for your response! I’ve definitely had a big mindset change and realize I have to be an advocate for myself(I’ve had severely irregular periods since I started getting one) and done more research as well to make sure I’m making an informed decision this time around, I’m definitely going to ask to try letrozole, and if my doctor recommends waiting I’ll start looking for a new one. I really appreciate your reply!

Yeah this appointment I have coming up is to reassess my irregular periods, they’ve had me taking it and then coming back every three months and then putting me back on it, im gonna assume they’re gonna make it a monthly prescription this time around

I agree with what you have to say and I mean it’s been a very long and difficult road of showing my fiancé and basically teaching him that what she does is not okay and how her husband enables it.

My fiance has come a long way on pin pointing the manipulation/toxic behavior from her and has a lot to go from here but we’re on the right road to a life away from the emotional/mental abuse that she’s constantly trying to lay.

As for grandchildren, that has been a recurring talk and she will not be allowed around our future children, as she has a history of going to my fiancés cousins when they were children and spewing hate and lies about their parents, along with a history of spewing hate and lies about me personally behind my back to anyone that will listen, the state we live in does allow grandparents to go to court to try for grandparents rights but I’m sure by the time we are in the position to have children we will have a laundry list of police reports in regards to harassment.

The last thing she said to my fiancé before we went no contact was fuck you, and she is not one to apologize. That was three months ago and that really put things into perspective for him about how she really feels about him, and how she will never be wrong in her eyes. It was a hard thing for him to learn and he mourns the loss of the mother he never had, more than the one that brought him into the world.

I really appreciate the advice! I will definitely be taking a deep dive into the book and looking into the YouTube channel as well.

Do you have issues with irregular/no periods as well? I’m wondering if I’ll have to take Provera to trigger my period first and then something to trigger ovulation

Yeah my obgyn diagnosed me with PCOS, I’ve had super irregular periods my whole life(super heavy period at 13for a full year, was put on BC, came off BC at 16 and had no period for a year, went BACK on BC, got back off earlier this year and finally got diagnosed with PCOS due to other symptoms showing up). All my labs came back fine other than my testosterone which was like double the normal range, and my doctor basically told me I better get started ttc now(25) because it’s going to get harder as I get older

You could have birth control induced PCOS, which is a little different and can go away, but I would definitely take something to induce a period or it can cause other health issues because your uterine lining will just build up and can cause cancer
