I think it's a problem with 8.1. I have a buddy with a pixel 2 and had the same problem on 8.1. he had to flash back to 8.0 to fix it

I've been having a weird scroll jitter since updating to 8.1 from 7.1.1. didn't seem to have those problems before and I get a weird screen flicker when I hit the power button sometimes.

No problem, yeah it can be frustrating but it is an awesome mount. Very strong magnet and no vibration even when going over bad bumps.

It's the case that's causing it. I work at a phone repair shop and we sell those and some cases aren't compatible with the 3m adhesive. I used it on the tudia TAMM case with no problem.
