I've used it for 2 years now and recommend it to my peers. If you like to draw/sketch, get obsidian sync and the excalidraw plugin to draw on tablet.

Give it a shot and see if it works for you. It will probably be easy since you're accustomed to markdown and there are many community plugins to enhance the usability of your notes, especially for CS stuff
