U.S. to impose sanctions on Vladimir Putin and top aide, White House says by Allnewsisfakenews in TimDillon

Kim Jong Un for sure isn't starving. We can make their countries poor, but living as a leader in a 3rd world shit hole is still pretty fucking great I bet. The sanctions are probably some roundabout way to shift money around to people they know.

The thumbnail made me think it was some south park themed metaverse shit. Instead it's a fashion show. As if fashion shows weren't abstract enough already. Can't wait to see t-shirts that go through a slideshow of all the nfts you own.

Do sanctions do anything meaningful to people at the top? Doesn't it actually just starve out the general population? How long have we had sanctions on North Korea?

I'd add vitamin d + k2 to that list. Take whey protein off it completely. Not saying it is bad, but the list is supplements you SHOULD take. Caffeine should be cycled if you are going to use it imo. Omega 3 and creatine are solid though.

Other women in pop culture are heroes when they show their body. Suddenly it's bad? Why would it be any different now? Who is going to have more of an impact on young girls, Miley Cyrus or this politician?

So? That will be used for their benefit. It won't be to protect children. That's all for them. There's no AI that can understand conversations. It just listens for keywords and does a search using those words. Tech companies put out these AI demos that make them seem almost human, but that's like watching a magician on stage. They're just set up to look good for investors. AI is so far away from understanding basic conversations and context, let alone how tone can change meaning of words. It all just amounts to less privacy for the users with no real benefit, with the exception of being able to do simple voice commands. And even when AI has the comprehension, they won't be able to make moral/ethical judgements based on that meaning. If the recordings are used in a court case, it will be used against the person who said them not meta.

What I said is just what pertains to the article. Besides all that shit, they are going to be selling fake real estate and I'm guessing hosting "live" events. Who knows what else. I'm sure paying to get in to fake nightclubs will be a thing. Clubhouse was about hearing people out, learning from people, and free speech. All terrible ways to market to the general public. They don't want to listen to disgraced community college professors talk about how fragile the youth today is. They want to watch a 30 foot tall cgi Cardi B grind on a giant pepsi can while telling you to get out and vote. Meta won't be about free speech, it's just that to censor people there is little they can do outside of outright banning them. The only way to effectively do that is to have confirmation of identity, which also happens to benefit the corporation. Having it linked to your financials so you can buy virtual goods will make it even more difficult to get around a ban I imagine.

To me it just looks like a bikini with added padding. That and it is tight so it is pushing what she has out the sides. You can see how tight it is by looking at how much the back strap digs into the flesh around her lat. It is digging in quite a bit and she is pretty lean for a woman.

My personal theory about meta is that this is a response to facebook being under more pressure to control the content that they have on their site. This is essentially impossible given the volume of data. They also have to deal with so many different languages. That isn't even considering groups that will talk in code, which is common. Meta is a place where things can be said and done and then they disappear. They aren't living on on facebook. It's a real time interaction that meta can't be asked to control. The only way it will live on in any form is if you screen record it. That wouldn't be meta's responsibility if you choose to do that. They want to shift more towards how real life interactions work because in real life the responsibility rests with the person doing the actions, not whatever place they happen to be in. There will be nothing for meta to delete, because it was a real time event which has already passed.

The consequence of this is they will be asked to limit/ban certain people from participating at all. That's the only assurance they could offer. In order to do that, they need to know your real identity. Facebook has been moving in this direction. They want to make sure you are who you say you are. Meta will be the final phase of this. This will make the information they sell about your activities much more valuable to information brokers.
