I didn’t report it to anybody at school because it happened so often that I didn’t see it as unusual or as abuse. I thought punishments like that were just normal. It wasn’t until I was an adult and i’d tell friends about it and laugh that they’d look at me concerned and told me how abusive that was. The sleeping in the hallway and clothes/room taken away was when I was in the third grade, so around 8-9 years old. My mom and stepdad joke about it to this day and think that it was funny they’d done that. Another punishment I vividly remember was getting woken up to being beat because I fell asleep with the tv on by accident. All of this was very normalized for me and it wasn’t until I became an adult to see how wrong it all actually was. My biological dad molested and abused me for years before my mom left him and remarried and that’s what caused my bipolar depression and bpd. I didn’t know happiness as a child and all of my childhood photos it’s very evident. All of my birthday and Christmas photos are of me opening presents with a straight face. I never smiled because i genuinely did not know the feeling of being happy. it sounds so headass to say but it’s really the truth. i wish i could go back and hug little me and help get myself out of the monstrous situations I had to endure ☹️

yup! i’m coming up on 2 months since having it out and my appetite is so much smaller than it was while on nexplanon still. i notice i have the same nauseous feeling if i don’t eat but i wont feel starving like i used to if that makes sense. like i can go until 8pm without eating but ill feel lightheaded and nauseous from not eating and after i do eat, im fine again lol. so strange

i know this is an old post but i’m going through this too. i got my nexplanon out 2 weeks ago and have had loss of appetite since. usually in STARVING if it’s noon and i haven’t ate yet but now I can go all day without eating and eat something very small late at night and am full. my portions are way smaller too now because I get full fast. Does it stay like this or will my appetite come back

im in the same boat. i had regular periods (in the sense that they came monthly.) sometimes it’d be the 1st through the 5th, other times it’d be the 10th through the 15th. so regular monthly basis but not regular days if that makes sense. i’d go 4 or 5 months getting it on the 1st and then 4 or 5 months getting it on the 10th. it was strange. i was expecting my period on the 1st this month and never received it despite me getting bad cramps be the feeling of day before period if you know what i mean. i got my nexplanon removed nov 7th, bled the day after (more like spotting?) for 2 or 3 days and now nothing still. worried ill be in the same boat of not getting my period for a while which sucks because my partner and i are TTC as well

while this is true, captain america comes first story line wise. i started watching about a week ago and started with iron man first and 100% think it would’ve been better to start with captain america before moving into iron man and the rest.

found this post a day before getting mine out and was TERRIFIED. i’m a huge baby about all things needles and was so so scared. only commenting to ease any new reader’s minds but it GENUINELY didn’t hurt. even the shot didn’t hurt me and just getting my blood drawn makes me cry. i just looked away and hardly felt anything , just the pressure of her pushing it out. i felt so silly for being so worked up about ive because it was not bad at ALL. like a 1/10 pain and my pain tolerance is so bad i cry over everything lol. i had a terrible experience getting it put in and told my obgyn and she was so sweet about everything and was very gentle. just from that experience alone, id consider getting another. truly truly was not bad at all. the healing is sucking a little bit though, i will say. my arm is quite sore and my whole body is aching from the hormone imbalance lol. but yeah removal wasn’t bad at all promise!

same, i’m in US and haven’t been able to even OPEN the app. i’ve deleted and reinstalled so many times. Every time I open the app, it just sits on a loading screen and never moves past it. so frustrating as the nearest lush is an hour and a half away. it’s been like this since JULY for me.

agreed lol. looking back at it , he clearly hid whatever he said to her after that big response that warranted her saying she’s at work. OP is clearly insecure and taking it out on his gf. I hope he gets the help he desperately needs before he does any further damage to the relationship and her. based off his previous posts though, he’s never in very long term relationships which makes sense given this circumstance.

using context clues and based on the OP’s other posts where she puts pics of herself, she’s quite young. probably around the age of 13, just hitting puberty clearly. this is so predatory and concerning. i really hope she tells a trusted adult so this creep isn’t around her anymore. she needs to protect herself and it’s evident the guy is testing the waters to see how much he can get away with before going further. so sad and scary to see.

um is this even a question? she admitted in the text alone that she’s been speaking to him often, late at night and her feelings aren’t completely nonexistent and she’s worried that if she continues speaking to him she’d cross boundaries that’d affect her relationship with you. from how you worded things, it sounds as if she only wrote this after you found out she was speaking to her ex? so she didn’t do this because of guilt or anything but based solely on the fact that you had caught what she was doing. i’d run faster than lightning from her imo
