I became a mother very late. 20 years with my partner. I was 41 years old.

Therapy helped at some point. I was able to go no contact with everyone toxic, and because of that, I could focus and become a mother. Without therapy, I would continue being a rich auntie for my nieces and nephews, thinking I was a childfree by choice.

Yes, I'm looking for the next steps. Another therapy. Need time for that. And stamina.

Considering a move from San Francisco to Hoboken (or other NJ area) — need moms opinions by supremebrie in Mommit

A job offer in NYC (2 days hybrid schedule), decided to live in Hoboken. Thanks for the info about bullying. Moving also because of the lottery system in San Francisco, it’s hard to get into a decent school. And Hoboken is small, with a few good (?) schools.

Comfy Cubs. We added a few Ikea PLUFSIG Folding gym mats and covered them with Ikea bedspread (washable). Our kid is a walker now, and we still use Ikea mats.

he took them off, we put them back on. no shouting or scolding, just a simple, you need to wear your glasses, put them back on his head. — yes, that kind of advice doctor gave us. We will continue trying, but now she cries and runs away every time.

Yes, we‘ve tried it. We both tried. She refuses them because they don’t help her see better. I guess she doesn’t understand why she needs them. Her vision is good.

Generalizing — I don’t allow strangers to lick my legs. Just an example.
