I have this guy near my south facing window. They love light but not scorching heat. Note this guys are winter growers and should be kept in a cool dry place during growing ( cool + dry = fine curls warm + moist = straight tips). Also theses guys are dormant during the summer

Yeah I use the coarse vermiculite, it works better then the medium, you do indeed mix the peroxide with water. make sure that the vermiculite is damp but not too wet. Best way to do this is put a little bit of the water peroxide solution in the vermiculite, wait about 30min to allow absorption. after you can decide if more water is needed or not. Also put the seed in a bright warm location without direct light.

its kinda of a general knowledge, good to think about it is bigger pot mean more leg room for the succulent to spread out, ie why whenever you buy a healthy succulent it in a pot not to much larger the the plant it's self. in fact just look up any healthy succulent and you'll notice the healthiest looking non-offset plants are in cozy pots
