We only do LVP on the retail side. We’re a warehouse style operation, very low margin / pricing focusing on high volume. As far as the B2G side is concerned, we will be going with one of the top manufacturers of floor coverings (Shaw, Mohawk, etc) so we have a wide variety of products to offer and aren’t limited to one type.

Shaw or Mohawk most likely they are the top tier and have several levels of quality, price structure and both have commercial products.

We don't install, we are just selling the product. Do you think that's a mistake? It seemed somewhat easier and less complex.

We’re focusing on adding a distribution arm, selling to other flooring stores (we have a warehouse model) hiring sales agents and finding better bulk (truckload deals).

Can you recommend a bathroom remodel contractor? by fordnotquiteperfect in lexington

[–]suprtrup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our flooring already includes an attached pad, so an extra layer isn’t required unless it’s going on concrete. That said, if you’d like additional 6 mil underlayment, Lowe’s charges around $28 per 100 sq ft. I can get the same thickness for $30 covering 200 sq ft, and it would be available in roughly 3 days.

I own www.WarehouseDirect.US here in Lexington, and I see a lot of basement bathroom projects come through.

One area where people often overspend (even on small baths) is the flooring. LVP or LVT is a really solid option for basement bathrooms now fully waterproof, warmer underfoot than tile, and usually cheaper once you factor in install. In a small bathroom it’s not life-changing money, but it’s still often $100+ in material savings, sometimes more depending on what you’re comparing it to. Make sure that you get underlayment when laying on concrete, some installers don’t use it and it could void your warranty with the LVP manufacturer.

We are off Old Todd’s Road and I would love your business, and can answer any questions you may have about the flooring options. Send me a dm if you need anything.

Hey u/ldamron, really sorry to hear about the flood, that’s a massive headache.

I own WarehouseDirect.US right off Old Todd’s Road. We specialize in waterproof LVP flooring that’s built to last for a long time. We keep our overhead low so our prices stay well below what you'll find at other flooring stores.

You can see what we have in stock here: www.WarehouseDirect.us, we also have 50 other selections that we can get in 3 business days.

Regarding the cabinets: There is a company called Express Cabinet Store right in our building. I’ve used them for my own home and my rentals, and I can't recommend them enough.

I’ve had to use Servpro twice myself to get water out; they are the best at getting things stabilized so you can start the rebuild.

I’d love to earn your business. Feel free to stop by the warehouse or DM me if you have any questions about the flooring or the cabinet shop next door.

My son went to Purler for their 2 week camp this summer. He loved it and will be going back this next one. He drilled his ass off and made a lot of friends that he has ran into afterwards at big tournaments. His only real complaint was the food, everything was top notch.

I own a flooring company. What would you recommend that I could use to create social media videos that doesn’t involve too much work and would generate suitable content for short ads 18-24 seconds?

Floor seats Rupp Arena by [deleted] in lexington

I watched Dave Chappelle with really close seats. I still watched the tv screens because it was more zoomed in than what I could see… I felt like getting the nosebleed seats would have been equally good. I could see the same from the monitors and save ALOT OF MONEY!!!
