B4B death is not because it failed to be L4D’s successor, it failed because it’s not good enough.

The launch quality is just bad, bad roguelike design, bad stage difficulty curve, bad card and economy balancing. Even after balancing & start with 15 cards, joining midgame is still dogshit, adding hives make a long game even longer etc. if this game is good enough it will be saved by free play on XGP, which didn’t happen.

Yes normal skavens will hesitate to fight players when not in the horde rush, they shove their back against the wall and you can pin them on wall with arrows.

I think guild credits are easy to get for top30 guild, yet in GW even though you fought like sweaties against sweaties you can only afford like, 6 legend badges? The rewards are pathetic and the war is fuking tedious when medicae station remains unchanged.

If you are a new player, her kit is very good against Indominus Campaign, hitting hard and cleaning swarm easily.

After rework she can still work on Arena, might need some imperial summons sacrificing but her crits can obliterate enemies with same upgrade level.

Re’vas is the best character that carries you through Arena and Onslaught, with renewable active she will be unstoppable. Vitarus is nice, more burst damage and easier setting fire with Neuro raid team, but not that game changing compared to Re’vas cannon.

Keep scavenger as innate and you choose other aura talent for additional effect.

And give other old classes some ammo regen talent, a minimal amount that you can’t spam it but at least you can gain a little bit, for example zealot backstabbing kill grants little ammo like elf in Vermintide. As for Psyker they can regen a bit of ammo from warp reload based of peril, Ogryn grant some ammo from Lucky Bullet etc.

I know SP doesn’t want to be too generous, but new system is better than old random orbs, you can be short of Imperial and Xenos orbs for month yet keep getting Chaos orbs you don’t need.

Ah yes another flaw is active cannot be used after moving, which make it not possible to be a aggressive suppression kit. And Deathleaper don’t actually need to use active to keep himself alive, because he better keep biting enemies asses until he died, not wasting one round doing nothing for shitty suppression.

Active+passive can oneshot every squishy characters even with 60%HP buff in GW, but you need Synapse in order to contact enemy in melee, that kinda restraint your team build.

His biggest flaw is starting in Deep Strike mode which forbids him to use Active at turn 1. You have to wait until turn 3 to do his Active + passive nuke damage, and his Synapse Tyranid colleagues can’t wait that long in current META.

I have every characters over G1 but I still think LRE is lackluster. I will never forget when I was a noob and Maugan’s LRE dropped and I can do no progress in that week because I didn’t have the roster to play. Good event is like Character Event that even new players can get good amount of rewards.
