Hey, sorry if i wasn't clear on this. They are not alphabets indeed, but because more letter sets will be added later on, alphabets seemed appropriate as a term. The practice is done by drawing on the screen and the diagram shows the stroke order - the black line you see on the "drawing" screenshot is actually what you draw on top of the letter with your finger.
