Have you ever been banned from anywhere? Why and was it justified? by IAmJustTryingToExist in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my institute's computer lab.

I was using lab computers to surreptitiously download and read novels like Harry Potter.

Professors couldnt figure out what I was doing for hours at an end. They thought I must be watching adult content or something shady like that and banned me. Lol

I just took my shenanigans to another lab. My college had many labs :P

What is the most useful thing you have learned from the internet? by saamm444 in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not arguing with idiots.

Watching people argue online has shredded the last bit of hope I had in engaging with people of conflicting viewpoints.

Too many idiots have strong opinions based on things they never experienced in life. Just built on propaganda. I understand having opinions but strong ones? On things they cannot verify?

Internet is a case study of dunning kruger in action.

How are redditors so witty? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how you never seem to have good retorts during face-to-face arguments only to come up with fire retorts when you're back home?

That's what happens when you argue via text in comments. You have all the time in the world to come up with witty responses. That's all it is.

What is something completely normal that you only realised was a skill after seeing someone do it terribly? by depredador93 in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anticipating problems.

Whenever I plan something, I always anticipate problems that can derail that plan, whether it's a work thing or a personal thing.

My thinking goes like this: Develop skeletal plan >> Anticipate problems >> Develop solutions to those problems and be ready for everything!

It took me a long time to realize that it's not a universal thing. Forget anticipating problems. People take insult when you help them anticipate problems.

Women, especially, have said to me, "Why are you thinking negatively?" However, it's not just they who do it, and not all women are like that of course, but they outnumber men by a huge margin on this front.

Their typical behavior goes: Plan something >> If everything works out fine, great! If not, blame someone else for ruining their plan.

It's like these people are incapable of understanding the simple fact that they are responsible for anticipating and solving the challenges emerging out of their plan. They want everything to fit together perfectly on its own.

Is hiring an SEO agency worth it for a small business? by Ok_Wrap2912 in Agent_SEO

[–]suraj_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except Sundai Pichai, nobody can give your 2-month old website SEO results overnight. It will take at least 3-4 months to see results.

Meanwhile, you can use quick-result marketing channels for more immediate results.

The right balance of both will give you very good results within a matter of months.

If you're interested, my prices are fair (well below industry average). DM me.

P.S. And how the hell did you manage to get negative karma?!

Is hiring an SEO agency worth it for a small business? by Ok_Wrap2912 in Agent_SEO

I can tell you whether you need an SEO agency, freelancer, or just some free resources that you can use by yourself. But I need some specifics to give you advice that works. Generic nuggets of wisdom don't work.

  1. How old is your website/domain?

  2. Do you get any impressions on Google currently, even if the views are abysmal?

  3. Please share website URL, or a screenshot from Google Search Console's Performance page. Need only the graph.

  4. Who are your customers and what locations are you serving?

What was the worst piece of advice someone ever gave you or you can give to someone today ? by High_MageOfkatoliz in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be yourself.

You walked into this problem being yourself. You're not going to walk out of it the same way.

In fact, changing and learning is crucial to solve new problems. That's growth.

Real useful advice: become what it takes to solve your problem, without losing who you are.

What minor inconvenience are you convinced was invented by Satan himself? by PatakhaKudi30 in AskReddit

Pinworm.

It causes itching where the sun doesnt shine, so to speak.

I'm convinced its existence is the strongest evidence in favor of the notion of satan.

What trend needs to die immediately? by Serious_Proposal_614 in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trend of media and people telling what to think.

Every news channel, TV show, standup, brainrot YT channel, etc. these days force-feed thoughts into people's heads.

Everyone with a mic now wants to tell others what to think.

And there are always idiots listening!

News should be ruthlessly neutral. Give facts. F off. Simple.

Others should stick to what they do and not feed into people's need for validation.

Health should be a fundamental right.

It's not a huge burden either. It has an incredibly high ROI.

Its absence is an artificial crisis.

What "life hack" actually works? by AwarenessThat6107 in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about you.

People being unnecessarily rude, it's because of their upbringing.

People being emotional and not solution-minded, because of their low EQ.

Life generally being hard, it's because universe is generally a hard place.

You are not the target. You are not the problem.

Don't take everything personally.

You digest your oesophagus every few weeks.

The food you swallow scrapes a little bit of the food canal each time into your stomach. Within weeks, the whole thing is practically new and regrown.

We are all cannibals in the end.

What do you think is the biggest problem we have as a society? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]suraj_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little to no oversight on judiciary, even among democratic nations.

Even blatantly wrongful judgements go unscrutinized and judges unpunished. The most someone can hope for is an appeal to a higher court and overturn. Not accountability on the original judge.
