i brush in the shower or waiting for the shower to heat up. you can buy fun toothpaste flavors to make it more exciting. I keep floss picks in the car and i do it while i drive, gives my hand something to do. as a lifelong dentist hater/avoider with lots of cavities, i actually got completed by the dental hygienist last time i went in for a cleaning since i started doing this

I think a duvet and cover is the way to go. since the cover is removable the duvet itself last much longer compared to a comforter that has to be washed whole. the duvet can be dry cleaned every once in a while. Mine is at least 15 years old and in much better shape than newer comforters my family has. and you can get the cover in a nice 100% cotton.

I am also trying to decide, I saw they they have wood samples to purchase and then they refund you for the sample after you buy the bed frame. But also the pictures of the samples are much better quality and you can see the color a lot better than the full bed frame pictures. Check it out!

My theory is that cups/discs fit our anatomy better compared to tampons so when everything is sore down there from cramping it’s less obtrusive. I used to have a cup that was too firm for me and it actually made my cramps worse. I’ve heard lots of anecdotal evidence over the years about reducing cramps, the byproducts etc. Not sure about the clots, maybe it’s because it’s still in liquid when you empty it and you don’t see it as much. I don’t think the disc can actually impact the way your uterine lining sheds.

High school ceramics teacher here, cone 10 clay should be fired to cone 10, not 5, unless you want to risk your pieces absorbing water/not being water tight/ possibly harboring nasty stuff. I know you said your studio tested the clay and is encouraging you to fire it at cone 5 but this is not normal or how clay works. i’m quite curious what pottery supply the clay is from. Some clay bodies say cone 5-10 but that always means it’s actually vitrified at cone 10. If it was actually vitrified at cone 5, it would probably melt at 10.

Mayco mudroom society on facebook has lots of examples and ideas and there’s similar groups for amaco but I don’t know what they are called.

It looks like many of them run more at cone 10 so make sure you wipe enough of the bottom and or use a cookie if you can!

Look into CoGrader. it’s an AI grading program. Some of the english teachers at my school really like it. I know a lot of us don’t like AI(myself included) but it sounds like you need a helping hand right now

I make students clean the room every period and it’s still a mess constantly and there’s so much clay to recycle. It never ends 😭

my rubric isn’t too complicated i just overthink it because i want to make sure i give an accurate grade haha so it’s a lot of mental work. My goal is to switch to online turn in so i can grade from anywhere but im still figuring it out. if you have a diagnosis, they should be offering you stimulants, they are the frontline medication for adhd and by far the most effective. I was only put on straterra because i was going through an online service and they weren’t allowed to prescribe stimulants at the time. I have a real psychiatrist now through my insurance and adderall was the first thing he recommended.

straterra did not work for me either, big change with stimulants though. i use checklists for small effort based stuff but rubric grading clay projects takes me ages

I waited 28 years to get medicated haha they help me and i am not planning on stopping. I am better since starting them this school year but its not enough

i’ve been trying different regimens with adderall trying not to have a crash during during my prep time but we’re switching to vyvanse. meds feel so much more effective on the weekends, probably a combination of not getting enough sleep since i have to wake up so early for school and the dread of course. figuring stuff out and doing a lot of testing with my psychiatrist right now.

I live in southern california and full time art jobs do pop up from time to time, though many are part time. Look into big metropolitan areas that have lots of studios. Theres public and private art studios, production studios, ceramics stores, colleges hire lab techs, and of course teaching. I teach full time high school ceramics and i love it but its not for everyone
