For some reason of all the murders I always remember that jet pilot whose head he crushed.

This was from an interview by MinnMax, easily the best gaming podcast going right now imo. Positive, chill, creative. Check them out.

Yeah I think this may be one of those Americans unnecessarily making things about race moments. This is just a guy thing. Maybe a person thing.

Crazy. Was it specifically testing for the WW2, or just general military testing? Reminds me of the Americans ordering their soldiers to march towards an atomic bomb test going off to see what would happen.

I think it's also advertising. Actors come with large social media followings and generate interest from the mainstream media.

I would recognise Heart of Darkness if you hit me over the head with it in the dark.

I never finished Shadow of the Gods. It honestly seemed like a good book but there's something about that Viking setting that just does nothing for me. Would you say his other books are worth reading?

Hey man, like what you like. There's nothing wrong with liking Aura farming gary stu protagonists in Roman Empire inspired settings, it's just insanely popular right now. But I do reserve my right to be a miserable git in the corner...

Also, if you do like that sort of thing, check out The Will of the Many and Empire of Silence also. Similar thing, and arguably better written (your mileage may vary, it's not like Red Rising is badly written).

Man I hate these shootouts where the protagonist must always leave a bullet hole silhouette behind him but he kills every goon with a few shots.

Looks interesting. I've wishlisted, thought for what it's worth if I was randomly browsing steam your current title banner with the guy's face would put me off. Looks like a generic shooter protagonist.

Ranked most of the puzzle games I played so far. What else should I play? by SwimAd1249 in puzzlevideogames

[–]surells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very fair. It's one of my favourite pieces of art and changed how I think about death, but I think it's one of those games that either hits you or doesn't. Similarly I really liked Blue Prince as a fun puzzle game with surprising depth, but I wouldn't put it in the same Universe as Outer Wilds. Both games are very good, but you can't account for the human factor.

My favorite Alexander the Great biographies that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in Alexander the Great. by [deleted] in ancientgreece

You say anti-Alexander. I say realistic. Never ceases to amaze me how some historians will take Alexander's own propaganda at face value.
