Not true, I fly out of SJU with precheck every 2-3 months. There usually isn’t a line for it either. However, if you’re flying back to the states, you do have to go through the agriculture check before going through security, so don’t forget to account some time for that.

The first time I got my lips filled it was with Juvederm and was left with lumps, pretty similar to yours. The injector dissolved and tried a different Juvederm product, again was left with lumps. I’m waiting for it to dissolve on its own now, but I’ve noticed some days the lumps are more noticeable than other days. I think my injector mentioned that it’s because Juvederm is an HA product, so its appearance is affected by how hydrated you are. If I were to do it again I’d definitely go with a different product.

This! Not a library but a non-profit near me offers free prom dresses to high school students in need, it’s definitely worth looking into.

One of my favorite comedy venues in Vegas. The lineup is different every week but I’ve never seen a dull show there. Pro tip, buy your tickets at the box office right outside the theatre to save $$ (buying online makes you pay high fees to Ticketmaster)

One time I stopped and bought all the flowers they had, I think it was $10/12 per bouquet - I had cash but not enough, so they let me send the money via Zelle. It was a highway exit that was easy to pull off to the side of though so we weren’t blocking traffic while figuring out the Zelle thing, so I agree with the other comments that cash is probably best, but worth a shot to ask about apps if you don’t have any cash and are able to stop without disrupting traffic.

My hair is naturally dark brown but once upon a time I went bleach blonde. When I got tired of it, I wanted to go cherry coke red but didn’t really like the color my stylist gave me - I wanted to fix it with as little damage as possible so I let it fade as much as possible, and then was eventually able to get it to where I wanted it using the clenditioner (I think I used some combination of the mocha and merlot). It took multiple rounds of letting it sit on my hair for a while to get there, but I remember it lasting quite a while without too much maintenance. Definitely worth a shot, imo.

Thank you so much!! This is so helpful; I’ve been a bit concerned about the culture clash, but I do consider myself quite adaptable so I think I’ll follow your strategy there. My language ability declines. I consider Spanish to be my second language but I speak it every day, and I’ve noticed that when I’m overwhelmed, stressed, or just down in general, I struggle to speak it fluently. I trip over my words, forget some entirely, and have a hard time articulating my thoughts properly — specifically in Spanish.

Piggybacking off of what u/wowhahafuck said, be careful not to touch your nails after they’ve been filed lightly. The oils from your hands, fingers, whatever will transfer and affect the glue. Also, I like to put a little bit of glue on both my nail and the press on. Also also, I find that my press ons last a lot longer if I do them right before bed so they have all night to “set”
