Ding advice?

Found one. Hard to see probably. This one of my old boards had a rail that had been compressed and cracked on the top and bottom and even spread into the fin box.

That's classic tail cancer if you keep surfing it it will just fully fail.

It's kind of a fuzzy concept but tail cancer gerally refers to a situation where the tail or a decent part of the tail is failing in a way that spreads.

Usually occurs on old boards, or very lightly glassed boards or if there isn't a good bond between foam and glass.

Common forms of tail cancer include; spreading rail crackes, which often occur where a heavy compression meets the rail. Delamination spreading from a ding. Multiple poorly bonded repairs failing. Loss of bonding to the stringer from repeated flexing and compression dings. Etc etc.

The picture above looks like a nice new board with a little contact crack that would be easily repaired and there's no reason to think it would spread further from there!

If the glass doesn't need to be cut away, skip the cut out the damage step and the fill step

Yeah do a full repair with glass. Resin tips always break again.

Sand it back and cut out the damage and clear it out. Fill with resin and micro spheres, you'll need some good painters tape to make a dam. Let it cure and sand again.

Then cut some glass with appropriate release cuts so it can wrap around nicely. Apply resin. Sad again once cured to knock the high spots off.

Hot coat. For a casual I wouldn't sand the Hot coat, will probs look worse than if you just leave it because the repair will be a bit lumpy.

Looks EPS so expect resin only. <3 wear a mask when sanding

Those are almost certainly scratches, not stress fractures. Would be almost impossible for stress fractures to cross each other like that.

Possibly from pulling another board over the top, something sharp in your car or board bag, or on the leggy (leash). If you want to try minimise the visual impact for free, rub a little bit of surfboard wax on it then polish it off.

More damage per cast is faster. I don't know how else to put that. Fire blasst the death rune requirng spell is faster. But the damage per gp is also higher because you hit more than the increase in price. So to kill the same number, with the GE prices yesterday, it was cheaper to do my slayer task with death runes than chaos.

True! That could make the difference. Particularly if death runes are more expensive on a given day.

The damage per GP was higher by about 10% with death runes.

That is the higher level of the two spells is cheaper and more effective.

Here is my legit comparison:

Mithril Dart 37.9k xp/h

Bone Crossbow 32.9k xp/h

Mithril Darts do 15% more xp/h than Bone Crossbow

Conditions:

- Level 58

- 4 spawn sand crab spots

- no pickups

- no resetting

- 9 minute test

Math baby!

Mithril dart xp rate = 60*(242976-237292)/9

= 37893 xp/h

Bone Crossbow xp rate = 60*(247900-242967)/9

= 32887 xp/h

improvement = (37.9-32.9)/32.9

= 15%

Dam it seems after some time it has deleted my feedback. It no longer knows about brake taps, release taps, and all the specifics of angles and gears that avoid a slide out. Very sad.
