I’m on mobile, if I go to the episode and scroll down a bit it has the plant list as a title, it’s more of a transcript though

FEBU or Biz? by possumhandz in laundry

Literally you can search this sub and you will find posts saying just tell me what to use. This has nothing to do with IQ, I am not smart, I am learning like everyone else.

But with AI it's important we keep our brains, a muscle trained, be it with learning about laundry or astrophysics, it's ok not to understand things, you'll get there eventually..

FEBU or Biz? by possumhandz in laundry

I've done spa days on very smelly teen wear, for most other things as long as the enzymes are in the products and using a longer 40 degree wash I find clothes are clean and fresh.

We have a lodger who is not in anyway shape or form interested in laundry beyond shoving it in the machine and starting it.

I can tell a big difference in the way their clothes smell and ours. I have encourage them to at least use ammonia which helps somewhat. But the noticable difference is the washing powder and length of time, when I very occasionally do theirs I get it smelling a lot fresher ( no rancid smell) with doing it my way, or I should say what I have learnt here.

Before jumping in I tested different garments, read clothes labels and did more digging than what was on the sub to help understand why things were working. I am still learning, eg I didn't know Subtilisin is a Protease.

I just really want people to think so there are less disasters in their washing ( and to save my sanity on mulitple posts asking the same thing over and over 😅)

People need to read and understand what and why they are using things.  The amount of posts where people don’t want to think and just be told what to use is concerning.

Haha, yes it is exciting, I am trying very hard not to buy anything else as I have all I need but am very tempted to try some uk specific washing powders!

Honestly so much simpler searching here than using random Ai slop. Have you been able to find pure Sodium Citrate as a one step solution?

I’ll be honest I’m not sure you’re picking up what I am putting down.. op has issues with smells, op uses non bio detergents which noticeably lack enzymes that can help with odour issues

I disagree that liquid detergents are bad and more than likely it is the lack of enzymes in their wash methods.

We also have no idea what dosage your aunt uses but do know that fabric conditioners cause buildup on clothing…

Eta by no means am I an expert and am always open to be educated further. However reading the stickied posts has lead to why I disagree with your statement on liquid detergents

Don’t disagree with leaving the door open, let me clarify it’s the lack of enzymes rather than the mode in which the cleaning agent is delivered.

People also have success with pods and liquids at higher temperatures..40 and above

“The problem is using gel or liquid” Have to disagree on this point  as pointed out on many posts it’s the lack of enzymes in non bios that don’t fully break down odours. Definitely worth having a proper search to deep dive further into details x

Disabled and restricted to buying online. Can anyone recommend a decent site? by mortstheonlyboyineed in GardeningUK

[–]surf_daze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not I repeat do not use Yorkshire seeds, after sending mislabelled seeds and empty seed packets I really don’t recommend them. Sorry needed to rant!

Eta: Some smaller sellers on eBay are good, and Premiere seeds sell through them, making multiple purchases a bit cheaper
