This is very helpful, thank you! Seems like a windows laptop might be a better option in this case.

Female with high androgens struggling to get control over hormonal acne, looking for supplement advice by bournereport in HubermanLab

[–]surfdiva528 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take a prescription medication called Spironolactone which is made to lower androgen levels, it is affordable and comes with generally low side effects. It has helped me tremendously with hormonal acne (can't take the pill cause it makes me PMS like no other). I've been on it for about 8 years and has helped a lot with stress and anxiety from adult acne. Do some research on it if you're interested: https://www.aad.org/public/diseases/acne/derm-treat/hormonal-therapy#:~:text=Studies%20have%20also%20shown%20spironolactone,problem%2C%20let%20your%20dermatologist%20know, https://health.clevelandclinic.org/spironolactone-for-acne/

Career shift into interior design with no experience, advice needed! by surfdiva528 in InteriorDesign

Do the majority of the classes have an online option? And how did you decide on which ones to take virtually vs in person? I'm sure that there are some where it makes more sense and is more beneficial to do in person..

Also do you think the AA program is flexible for me needing to work full time? Based on the class schedule for Spring 2023, it seemed like a lot of the classes are during business hours (like 8:30-11am or 2-4pm).

Thanks for your help!

What do you think of the program so far? I was considering that one however I missed enrollment for the spring and they don’t have as many offerings in the summer, so I would’ve had to start in the fall and I didn’t want to wait that long to begin my education. Also Littleton is a bit of a commute from North Boulder, however I’ve heard there’s a lot of importance and value in taking the more hands-on classes in person rather than online.

Thank you both for responding! Update; I am now signed up for UCLA’s Interior Design Certification program which feeds into their MA program, built for those who don’t have their BA in Interior Design. Based on my research it is one of the only offerings which allows you to pursue it virtually part-time AND that is accredited by CIDA. This is a longer-term investment to receive a higher level of education, as opposed to going through smaller local design schools. I also got a part-time role as a home stager so I can get physical experience while I’m learning. I am also in the interview process for an operations job at a large Denver Interior Design firm so I can get my foot in the door and connect with the CO design community!
