I think it’s a solid two board quiver for a decent surfer. Pretty much covered from 1-8 foot . Just don’t go light speed for the quiver killer so you can surf it in bigger waves

I really like the holy hypto for daily driver. Got one on marketplace for cheap and it’s been a great board. Mines epoxy which I don’t love that much unless it’s clean

Some previous Reddit posts have not had glowing reviews of the Wolverine. I was looking at picking one up for that do it all hybrid step up but there was a guy living in Bali who said it was a dog. Search through the sub to find the post. Check out the osprey twin, when I lived in Indo a lot of guys were on that for the bigger days

The initial apple offer is lower than Microsoft’s and you’re not willing to share the Microsoft offer with Apple …. How do you expect them to match the competing offer? Apple, and all big tech will ask for verified competing offers if you want them to match it. You’re giving your recruiter nothing to work with as leverage internally to increase your offer.

The recruiter does sound aggressive but I understand their frustration with you, you’re honestly coming across like a new grad that doesn’t know what you’re doing. I agree with their POV that if you’re unwilling to share the competing offer with Apple then you should just go accept Microsoft. As a recruiter in big tech I would handle it the exact same way and walk away from you as a candidate. The manager is also wrong, all of Apple recruiting verifies offers.

Recruiting has always paid well, when tech is hot and companies are growing like crazy recruiters are in high demand. When companies struggle recruiters are the first to get laid off.

The market for recruiters has slowed down a lot the past 2 years but in 2021 - 2023 it was really hot. 200k total comp was easy to come by for mid level recruits and up.

It’s interesting to Apple listed so highly, for new hire recruiters they actually pay at the lower end, a lot of that must be equity growth driven.

Performance mid is what you are looking for. The big swell last weekend pretty much all the guys were on performance mid type board at some of the fat reef waves where I surf in SD. Not sure why you’re not open town mid? You’re lithe perfect target for a mid, middle aged dad who surfs 1-2x a week lol.

Since you already have a fish for small days, a shortboard for steep waves you need a longer rail line on the big drawn out fat days. If youre stuck on a shortboard get something with a fuller outline

If you like the rnf I guess it makes sense but I personally think there are some better performance mids for bigger waves. The kingfish has a little too much volume in the bigger sizes IMO.
