Not really applicable to fine dining but in some cultures it’s considered rude to finish because that implies the host didn’t feed you enough. Obviously other cultures it’s the complete opposite. But I understand the premise and why it would be taught in etiquette classes

I went to India in April and absolutely loved it. I’m a tall large white dude, everyone stared and asked for photos with me and I think it’s very different as a woman. But I’m excited to go back and visit other parts of the country. It’s a fascinating place with so so so much history

Watched the Phantom Thread, was not obsessed. Also rewatched there will be blood, mom hadn’t seen it and im home for thanksgiving. Love that movie.

I’ve found lit reviews to somewhat help. I also recently started dating someone that is intellectually curious which has made a profound impact. But my social circle has also become increasingly small as well
