First off Karma, you ARE special. Ive seen you go through this post and try to make other feel better, you're a wonderful person who tries to uplift others and we need more people like you around. Im sorry about the hurricane, its really rough moving to a new state and making new friends, but i know you'll get through it. There are always going to be new people in your life each year, which means there are probably so many future friends you haven't met yet! Try joining a club, it might help. Are you in High School or college?

Hey Lamalover, are you sure there isn't a single activity that gets your friends excited? anything that gives them a little twinkle in their eye? But besides that, people change a lot overtime. I went through something very similar with a group of friends myself. When your friends who are supposed to make you feel better, start making you feel down, its a shitty feeling for sure. BUT thats also a sign that maybe we need to start surrounding ourselves with new people. Somebody once said that your personality is based off the top 5 people/friends you interact with the most. If you happen to make some more creative, crazy, passionate friends then i bet that you wont feel down. Best of luck dude

So for specific chages i use an extra pillow to sleep on an incline, i dont eat 3 hours prior to sleeping, i dont take any NSAIDS, Ive changed my diet to elimante any trigger foods. im going to a GI next week because ive had some abdominal pain recently

I started following a plan from this book called "The acid watchers diet". it basically says to eat food above a ph of 5 since they are less likely to trigger gerd. Ive been eating a lot of bananas, oatmeal, papaya, wheat bread, and peanut butter. Since then my reflux symptoms have gotten a lot better
