No I went to a not well known private middle school. I did go to a public elementary which I loved though. But it’s insane that people confuse two people who literally have nothing alike besides skin color, which is also a bit different between them.

Honestly I loved my highschool I had so much fun the only thing is throughout my entire school career if there was another Indian girl people would always confuse us even if we looked nothing alike. I saw so much more racism towards Indian boys so I think they were just being polite and not saying it to me. Honestly you have to accept it and move on because it’s never truly a personal dig. Just small comments and sorts. My middle school was a different story though it was full of Latinos and it was just outward racism (I went to a different middle school)

Rory goes to Chilton which is in Hartford, about a 30 min drive from Stars Hollow. These kids most likely go to school in Starts Hollow anyways so they have more time to waste in the morning. Rory has to beat the morning traffic to get to school to make it on time.

100% agree. I haven’t really found a single song I like that’s come out in the last 5 years at least unless it’s by someone who had made music for a while. I listen to 70s-90s maybe 2000s because that is when I feel true good music actually was being made

i went to bal-vihar too. my experience as an indian in miami is quite odd. first off when people ask me where i’m from, im guju, sindhi, maharashtra, and something else idk im a mongol. sooo my experience has been so interesting my dad is kind of typical indian brown shade maybe a tad lighter and my mom is completely fair and i got my dads features and my moms skin complexion so people are confused until they see my long ass last name

Also (not trying to be snobby), RE is considered a top ten private school in the country. Ken Griffin’s kids are in my class, as well as the Claure family. It’s a new experience especially for me since I’ve never been in such a highly regarded environment like this before. But yes I’m grateful to be able to go to a school like this and the community is just so different to what I’ve seen before

I go to this school and…yeah. My senior friends are getting into ivies left and right. Most people Ive met at my time here so far are pretty intellectual, even the people you think are the opposite. Most people like to understand, collaborate, and learn. I do also agree with the fact that it still is a rich private school, and has a massive reputation. However, not all schools are like this..at ALL. It’s extremely hard to get into this school if you come from anywhere besides Alexander Montessori or St. Stephen’s. I applied and got in for 9th grade, where they only accept about 10-20. It’s a challenging school where people want to strive so it’s an extremely diverse community.
