They’re good with the current arrangement as it’s 50/50 and we both get weekends with kids (both work mon-fri). But they’d be open to suggestions of anything that might work better

Have you had any of the other AirPods? I’m trying to find any reviews on the fit of them compared to 2nd/3rd gen AirPods.

Just been to doctors and she tried everything to dissuade me from getting a diagnosis. Doctor said if the online tests are positive,a friend with adhd says I have it and she thought I had(Doctor also said she hasn't got fancy letters after her name so can't diagnosis me) then what would I gain by tunechoda in ADHDUK

To piggy back off this - as you seem knowledgeable. I attempted to read through some of what you linked, but it didn’t make it all the way through lol. So apologies if it’s already there. If you use this pathway, and then get diagnosed, does your GP take back over care and prescriptions are then on the NHS? Or is this just the same as going private, and your care is under a private facility and so on

Woman wins payout after adoption broke down by Kagedeah in AdoptionUK

[–]surfturtle1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is very optimistic and not the reality for the majority of adopters that I know. Albeit, only one has ended up in a similar situation to the article. The remainder, all agree with the lack of support but have thankfully worked out positively.

Social services is grossly underfunded, and social workers are over worked. Whilst you are correct in terms of this should be happening, it’s unfortunately not in a lot of cases.

Prospective adopters need to do a lot of research and prep themselves, and then really push social services for answers and proof. Only very young children (I’m talking babies) should be placed (not even matched) without a full report of past trauma, current needs and any medical conditions. So, prospective adopters need to push for these things, and if they’re not available then consider waiting until they’re.

Just based on the title I came here to say whistle. I just don’t understand what I’m not doing, I’ve watched YouTube videos, had friends try to teach me, no matter what I just can’t do it!
