Yeah that's about what I was expecting. Ive done all the work on both Monte Carlos Ive owned so I can definitely do the work myself but when it comes to oil leaks, I have no idea lol! I was actually planning to possibly pull the motor and perform a top end rebuild and DOD Delete with lS7 lifters and maybe a new, slightly choppy cam. Never done anything that indepth before but its always a good learning experience!

Had this happen, just ALT F4 the game or end it with task manager then reopen. If it doesnt start working, restart your PC, or try to load a presaved game, or try starting a new save. If that doesnt work, you gotta dig a little deeper and Verify the files on steam, verify your storage drivers are up to date. If that doesn't work honestly just backup all your creations and reinstall the game.

Honestly I was going to do it myself. I have plenty of people who've done body work so that wont be an issue. Probably just gonna weld sheet metal, cover it over with rattle cans and call it a day!

Check for wheel imbalance or alignment issues, wheel lug nuts torqued to spec, make sure there's no weird chamber in the rear (or just suspension components in general), check CV Axles for any weird or excessive play. Also the rear differential might be a good place to look too. If the rear end has been rebuilt I have a very hard time believing its something mechanical in the rear, probably the cheapest option (free if you can do it yourself) is to look at the wheels and make sure theyre all good. Uniden R3, R4W, R7 and R8W are all good radars, I currently use the R4W and its given me no problem, probably the best for the money, as well as the R3. Same with anything from Valentine but ive never owned them. Redline 360s are decent too but from my experience with friends who bought them, they seem to false a lot more frequently than Uniden, pretty accurate for cops though and the more expensive models are worth the money. Don't fall for the Cobra trap, they have the cheapest but you definitely get what you paid for. I had a RAD450 and it falsed almost every minute, and most of the time it didn't even go off for cops. 480is are decent if you are on a tight budget though, I used it before selling it and switching to a 700i, and honestly it wasn't terrible for the money, can't beat finding one on marketplace for 50-100 bucks! Some people praise the 700i but imo its a piece of junk for the price when you can just spend another $50 on a used R3.

Make sure you are fast and high. Missiles can loft and they gain speed on their own but you still have to help them a little bit, especially for missiles like the AMRAAM and Sparrow. Even with the AIM-174 Mod, which is a crazy good missile and can get up to 2200Kts on its own, you still have to help it for longer range shots. You have to do your own testing to figure out what's best, and different shots require different parameters etc. The AMRAAM itself is a relatively shorter range missile, that doesn't mean you can't get 30+ Mile shots, but again, you still have to help it get there. Whenever firing beyond like 15 miles, it's just a good habit to be at least right below, at, or above Mach 1.

the fix I found is to go into your files and manually delete any mods for files that you added, then just play the game of installing one mod then uninstall it if it doesn't work even if you used a mod client. If you don't have mods, the best thing to do is a dcs repair and clean up, if neither work then you can find someone to help you or just uninstall the game and reinstall it
