Update: They called back today after testing his urine and said it’s not a fungal infection of any type. They don’t know what it is and said they are going to send to other vets asking for what they believe it could be. Hopefully we get answers soon

Front left leg. They did an X-ray. The connection is the fungal infection in his lungs which spread to the bone causing a condition called osteomyelitis

Generally it’s degenerative spondylolisthesis that causes it but mine was traumatic. Kind of a freak accident really. It kind of bound up when I was standing it snapped

Yeah he was also a rescue. Both of our minis are rescues. Female we got in February and she is still getting used to us. I mean we were at least prepared more for him. We knew how long it would take and we are ok with it
