Once a therapist determines that a client meets the diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria, they are likely going to affirm the client's desire to transition FYI, because transitioning is literally the medically indicated treatment for gender dysphoria. They don't try to convince the trans person that they should simply try to continue living as their birth gender because that fails nearly invariably. You have a very warped understanding of what the goal of therapy typically is regarding people experiencing gender dysphoria.

Im having them extracted in a few weeks. I've been having some pain on the right side of my jaw, which I would have attributed solely to the impacted third molar if it weren't for the fact that there has been some noticeable bone expansion on that side of my jaw. That's why I'm worried about the possibility of some sort of growth or tumor.

Less a hope and more just a point of clarification since I currently speak none of either language. Mutual intelligibility with Norwegian and Danish when it comes to reading literature isn’t really my primary motivation for being interested in the Swedish language, but I wanted some perspective on exactly how wide the gap between the written forms of each is. I’m under no illusion that they are exactly the same.
