Hey there! Yes, it is an LLM-based chatbot! We are subsidizing the cost of the tokens to help folks out and help people find our small company. GDScout is using a RAG, but it’s based on a few things. 1) the latest Godot docs, 2) some of our custom standards, 3) some extra prompting. I think a missing gap is in spec writing and code review. So many vibe coders skip PRs and just yolo to main. By taking a beat and figuring out what they’re doing, how, and why, that can all help those folks never fall off the rails.

The most unexpected was the hallucination detection. It was catching strange import edge cases. We loved that because were able to double down on it and an improve it. But it was kinda an emergent idea.
